• Question: have you wanted to be a scientist since you were a child

      Yes, but I have not always wanted to be a DNA scientist. I’ve been interested in different areas of science for as long as I can remember, but for a long time I wanted to be a doctor because I was particularly fascinated with the human body. As I got older, I started to realise how many different ways there were to study the human body, DNA and genetics being one of them! Although, I did consider being an astrophysicist (a space scientist) for a while… unfortunately my math skills weren’t quiet up to scratch!
