Question: How frequently do incidents/accidents occur while in the lab doing an experiment?

Hi! Fortunately not very often. I now work entirely on a computer rather than in a lab, so the risk of injury is tiny. Even when I worked in a lab there were no major safety incidents – health and safety is taken extremely seriously! There are procedures in place to protect lab workers, for example there was an eye washing basin in the lab in case any chemicals were splashed in your eye (although you should be wearing safety goggles anyway), and lab coats for everyone.
