Question: How long is the estimated time for covid to be around

Hi,
Unfortunately Covid will probably stay around forever because it does not just infect humans abut also animals which means even if we vaccinate everyone on earth the virus can still come back because of what we call an ‘animal reservoir’. Hopefully we will eventually have vaccines that are not just efficient in preventing severe disease but also in getting the virus. There are also drugs in development that prevent severe illness on top of that.. so if with these things the virus won’t be deadly or very harmful anymore, we can hopefully live a ‘normal’ life 🙂
