• Question: How many people in the world have have the covid jab?

      I believe we just passed 10 billion covid vaccines administered worldwide! Of course some people have had more than one dose, so the total number of vaccinated people is lower than that. And the distribution is not very even, with far more vaccinations in wealthier countries so far.

      Not nearly enough and the distribution has been uneven, leaving large areas of the world with little coverage. Until we have better vaccine coverage, we have a much higher change of seeing new variants appear.

      There have been over 10 billion shots given by now. Thats more than the 7.7 billion people we have on the planet. However in western countries many people already had 3 shots while in many places in sub Sahara Africa lots of people unfortunately have not had access to the vaccine yet.
