Ebola is a really terrible deadly virus. Some versions of Ebola are so deadly, that they don’t spread around much because they kill most of the people infected before they can infect other people.

There are a lot of viruses that are deadlier, but luckily they have not all been able to spread as well as Covid has. So SARS, another coronavirus, was deadlied that Covid, but it didn’t spread as well. Ebola is far deadlier, but it spreads via body fluids instead of being a respiratory virus, so that limits its spread.

      Hi Joe,
A lot of viruses are more deadly than SARS-CoV-2. For Covid roughly 1 in 100 people dies (it also depends on the variant).
But Hemorrhagic Fever virus is much more deadly at 60-80% mortality.
The deadliest of all is rabies. If you are not vaccinated against it and you get bitten by an animal that has it you will die from it. There is however a vaccine against it that works great! If you have the vaccine you don’t get sick and the good thing with that one is it actually still works if you get the shot after you were bitten by an animal with rabies.
