• Question: So is it possible to get covid once and never get it again but be around people who have it

      It might be, but it’s unlikely if the virus keeps evolving. There are a lot of people who have already had it more than once, but we haven’t kept very good track of that, so we don’t know exactly how many people.

      But some people might get it once and never again.

      Its possible to get it multiple times even if you are vaccinated (but then not as severely). Usually people would catch a different variant, but you could also get the same one again.
      Maybe there are a few people who will have it once and never again, but that’s probably very rare
