      SARS-CoV-2 actually does affect the brain of people it infects, but like with everything else in different levels of severity but some people who have had really bad Covid describe being very forgetful still weeks after the infection

      COVID does cause problems with the brain. Sometimes it could be a really big obvious effect in people in hospital, like a stroke or confusion. Or an effect that’s more difficult to see, like being slow to remember things or how things work. People with ‘long covid’ can be left with thses sorts of effects for a long time after the infection.
