      Hi Libby, that’s a fun question. I did Biochemistry at university and was really interested in the virology and immunology courses that I took. Then I started researching careers in that area and decided to study Epidemiology (the study of the spread of infectious diseases) because it combined the topics I found interesting with global health, so there was a direct way to feel like the work I do can help people.
