      Hi again Sophie,
      I really love microscopy because you can actually observe what is happening inside cells while you infect them with a virus.
      Using microscopy I also found that the virus I worked on during my PhD (Vaccinia virus) shifts a protein into the nucleus that is very important for immune defense. This is what I ended up studying for most of my PhD and the first time I saw this under the microscope was my favourite PhD experience I think 🙂
