There are a couple of reasons.

Firstly, the way vaccines work is by teaching our bodies how to fight a virus. But the main weapons our bodies use to fight are things like raising our core temperature (which makes us feel cold, and gives us a fever) or making us feel tired (so the body can concentrate it’s energy on fighting the virus), or creating lots of snot ( to clear harmful viruses and bacteria out of the nose). So our body might make the same symptoms when it is learning how to protect itself, but you probably will be better off in how you react to the vaccine than to the virus itself.
