Question: Why is there so much bacteria in alot of things

Hi Mia thanks for your question. You’re right, most life on earth is bacterial! Bacteria are amazing wee organisms that do lots of jobs on earth. Some bacteria are pathogenic, which means they infect and harm other beings, including humans sometimes. Many bacteria actually provide nutrients to the soil, sediments and seas on earth. Bacteria live on and in us humans too, helping our digestion, immune system and other processes we need to survive :O
