Question: will covid vaccines become a regular thing?

Most likely yes but it also depends if we get more variants. We know that the current vaccines don’t work as well on Omicron. I hope that there will eventually be a ‘universal’ vaccine that covers all of them. Something like this was just recently developed for the flu.
Maybe vaccines will also improve to be more ‘sterilising’ which means you can not get the virus at all if you are vaccinated and can’t transmit it.
Currently the vaccine is great at preventing severe disease but not infection and spread. I hope new improved versions will make this better.. until then its probably regular shots.
