If I’m going ot be a well known scientist I’d actually much perfer if it was because I was a really good & nice person to work with. Or that I helped to bring a positive change to the working environment in academia.

Far too many of the “famous” or well known scientists are truly awful people. Luckily I know some well known scientists who are amazing people!

No, I’m not bothered. I’m quite a shy person so would rather work on something because it will help others rather than be known for it.

Lots of the greatest scientists are not well known. They do a lot of great work which does not get into the public domain. Scientists do not usually seek fame as a reason for doing their work.
