  Luckily no, but I am sure it happens.
  Liverpool where I live and study has a fantastic LGBTQ community and I feel very comfortable here and in my job at the University too. It’s important to me to represent my community in STEM!

I haven’t experienced any direct discrimination. I would say just be yourself, be open about it with people and a majority will be very accepting.
