It can be hard and there’s aspects to it which I find particularly hard. But it’s a bit like being a detective, you find things out and there’s a mystery to be solved.
You learn as you go along and things that seemed hard at first become easier the more you do them or if you look at them in a different way.
I found statistics hard at school, but recently did a mini course on it which was really interesting and made me understand it a bit more.
I think some subjects within studying science were hard.. I was never a big fan of biophysics but had to do it to get my degree. Its also a lot of memorising for some courses which I was never a fan of. I had to work pretty hard but in the end it paid of with very decent grades 🙂
I found the exams the hardest bit (until I reached undergradute degree level) as I never believed that they actually assessed ability but more just recall. But when I got to undergrad and the exams were much more about using what you knew then I did really well.
It’s still hard and our course had the second highest workload of any undergraduate degree in our university but it’s very rewarding at times so definitely worth the hard work.
