      Good question – and support in academia is so important.

      My biggest supporter is probably my mum. But my friends are also a huge support group (we all did our PhDs together) and it’s so helpful to have people you can turn to who understand academia. My PhD supervisor was also incredible and is still (3 years later) supportive and will give me guidance when needed.
